CCE were appointed to undertake the Civil & Structural Design of the newly built Prince Albert High School in Perry Barr, Birmingham; located next to the athlete’s village created for the Commonwealth Games.

Built over 4,103sqm, the new secondary school provides places for 1,260 pupils, with teaching spaces, consisting of 32 traditional classrooms and 27 specialist learning spaces for subjects such as science, art, music, drama, and technology; as well as a four-court sports hall and outdoor floodlit multi-use games area, for children aged 11 up to sixth form. The facilities are also open for the local community to use.
