This project is a mixed use commercial development which forms part of the urban regeneration of the area known as Spencer Yard. The project has received planning and is currently in the detailed design stage.
The existing Loft Theatre Company will transfer into the newly refurbished United Reform Church which will allow the demolition of their existing property and some other dilapidated buildings. This will then allow the construction of the new Riverside development with cafés and restaurants on the ground floor overlooking the River Leam and a business enterprise centre on the remaining three floors. The project will provide 2900m2 of commercial office accommodation and 600m2 of mixed use A3 café space. The project is estimated at around £3.2m and it is intended to achieve a Breeam excellent rating.
The project forms an integral part of the overall regeneration of Spencer Yard which is a joint project between Warwick District Council, Advantage West Midlands and City Spirit Developments.
