Director

Matthew is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 25 years’ experience. Matthew joined CCE in 2013 as an Associate but was promoted to Director in December 2013. Having worked for Halcrow for nearly 10 years, primarily as Regional Development Director, Matthew joined CCE to help grow the business with his extensive range of local industry contacts.

Matthew is responsible for winning new business, coordinating the company’s marketing activities as well as leading projects. He possesses wide ranging engineering design experience as a consultant preparing both detailed designs and supervising design teams.

Having worked on many education based projects, both new build and refurbishment, Matt helps direct the design teams towards robust design solutions which reflect the needs of all the key stakeholders on a project.

Matthew has also been a visiting tutor at the Birmingham School of Architecture for the past 6 years helping post graduate Architects towards their Masters degree.
